Frontier Band Rocks!

Repeat after me...The Big Blue Crew Rocks!!!
That's right...  Frontier's band is the best in the city and quite possibly the best High School band in the state!!
Just ask freshman Laura Atwater...
Laura plays the xylophone for the Big Blue Crew and so far has loved every minute of it. Here is a (slightly dark) pic of her at our last home game!

And here's Laura just hanging out at school!

Thanks for getting involved at Frontier, Laura!

Player of the Week!

Hey Guys,
Just thought you all should know that freshman, CHRISTIAN DEATON,  rocked it against Liberty High last week.  He received the Player of the Week Award because...
Not only did he have EIGHT tackles, yep, you read it right - EIGHT!
But, he also had an interception with  a 30 yard run for a TOUCHDOWN!
Way to go #6!!

And we hear he's pretty good at baseball, too so we may see him here again in the Spring!

Homecoming Royalty

Hey there Freshmen!
Our first Homecoming week was amazing and we hope all of you got involved in the dress-up days, helping out on the float, and attending the game and dance.
Last week our freshman class voted for a prince and a princess to represent us during Homecoming and we chose GREAT representatives!
Here is a pic of our Royalty...

Meet Chris Davalos and Cassidy Swaim.

Both Chris and Cassidy are already totally involved at Frontier and are making a positive impact on campus!
Chris plays football for our Freshman team and Cassidy is a Titan Cheerleader.
Congratulations to Chris and Cassidy
and thanks for being such amazing representatives of our class!!

The Fair!

Hey Freshmen!
We've been at Frontier now for over a month and it's time to profile one of our fabulous classmates who is Embracing the Experience of being a TITAN!
Check this out...
Meet Jasmine and Paisley...

At the Kern County Fair, our FFA program, and freshman Jasmine Giddings, in particular,  Totally Rocked It!
Jasmine and her pig, Paisley, placed ninth in showmanship and FIRST PLACE in her weight class!
Way to go Jasmine!!

Being involved in FFA and especially taking part in the Fair is extremely time-consuming and requires lots of hard work and diligence, not to mention the late nights and having to complete all of that missed schoolwork!  So, Congratulations Jasmine!  And Paisley :)  And congratulations to all the Titans who took part in the Fair!

If you know of a freshman who deserves to be profiled on our blog, please let our class advisor, Mrs. Watkins, or any student council member, know and we'll definitely take care of it!

Stay tuned for lots of Homecoming Week pictures, like our amazing float and lunchtime activities, and a special profile on our Freshman Princess and our Freshman Prince!
